      About Lister Hill Auditorium


Lister Hill was established for research and development by the United States Congress in 1968. The Lister Hill Center is an active part of the National Library of Medicine.

The Lister Hill Center was named for Senator Joseph Lister Hill (1894-1984) Hill believed in the healthcare system
and campaigned to help create the National Institute's of Health. Lister Hill was named for his efforts in 1968.

This year will mark the 3rd time Iron Disorders Institute has used Lister Hill Auditorium to conduct the Patient Conferences.
