Mr. Roberson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. Just after graduating from college, he began his career working for NCR selling cash registers in Norfolk, Virginia. In the early eighties Tim, with his entrepreneurial spirit, recognized an opportunity and moved to Greenville, South Carolina to join a young cash register sales and service company which, under his leadership, grew from ten individuals in 1981 to approximately 600 employees and eight offices in 1999 and became the largest provider of | |||
| IBM retail point of sale solutions worldwide. Tim has received numerous awards including Greenville's Small Business Person of the Year 1995, and Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for the Carolinas in 1999. Tim has served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher in his local church, and is currently Chairman of the Board for Miracle Hill Ministries in Greenville. He is also serving on a Chamber of Commerce Committee working with the Board of Education in Greenville County. Tim and his wife, Beverly, have two married daughters and one grandchild. In his spare time Tim enjoys playing golf and outtings on his Harley Davidson. | ||||
