Mrs. Main has dedicated her life to raising awareness about hemochromatosis. She and her husband are both C282Y carriers. Of their two sons, both C282Y homozygotes, their son Christopher died at the age of 23 of complications of hemochromatosis. Her work is dedicated to Chris's memory and to their surviving son Matt. Laura lives in Ohio with her husband Richard. | |||
